We are serving inside, on the patio and takeaway. Come inside to order takeaway when the weather is wet or in the evenings. Inside tables are table service. The bar is fully stocked.

As a family run business, we use fresh local produce, real & local ales, live & local ciders and friendly customer service to provide the perfect dining experience beside the sea.
The Inn dates back to the 14th century when it was known as The Fisherman's Arms and was used by the local fishermen who worked their fishing boats from the village beach in front of the pub. The Start Bay Inn has been run as a family business since 1977. Clair and Gail are the new Paul and Fay.
